WHOIS Privacy Protection

Through the Domain Manager, you can request an SSL certificate for your domain name. With an SSL certificate, all the private information that your clients send through your site (through the order form, via a login form, etc.) will be enciphered and the submitted information will never be imperiled.

To order an SSL certificate for your domain name, just fill in the required information and click on the Activate button. You can order a common SSL certificate, which will be valid for just one single host, or a wildcard SSL certificate, which will be enabled for all the hosts under your domain.

If you want to use WordPress MultiSite or some other multisite web app, or even if you want to prevent people from typing the ’www.’ part of your domain incorrectly, you’ll be able to take advantage of the wildcard domain activation options offered by our Domain Manager tool.

With the Wildcard feature included in the Domain Manager, you’ll be able to direct all the hosts and sub–domains under a specific domain name, for instance – blog.domain.com or forum.domain.com, to the index page of your website.

Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you can alter various types of DNS resource records for your domains, including A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT records. Setting a new DNS record is quite easy. You just have to select a domain name and then specify the DNS resource record that you want. Any change you make will be reflected online within just one day. If you’d like to reset the former record value, just click the Revert button.

The Custom DNS section also includes a GeoIP location tool, which enables you to forward people from a certain geographic location to a specific language version of your web site.

You can park a registered domain name by pointing it to one of our two domain name parking templates – For Sale or Under Construction. The domain parking process is truly easy and will go into effect straight away. You will be able to park as many domains as you want. And if you want to to un–park the domain – you can accomplish this operation with a mere click of the mouse.

Plus, you can tweak our two domain parking themes using custom images and messages in order to make them more personalized.

With the Registrar Lock feature activated, you can rest assured that your domain is safeguarded from cyber theft. Any person who initiates an unauthorized domain name transfer will be automatically stopped and the domain name transfer request – declined.

If, at one point, you choose to transfer your domain to another domain name registrar, you’ll be able to unlock it with one single click of the mouse. You will find the domain locking/unlocking option in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.

When an individual or a corporation registers a domain, they are required to give detailed and precise WHOIS info. Because this information should be kept accurate constantly, it may often need to be updated.

From the Domain Manager, you’ll be able to quickly update the WHOIS information for all your domains whenever you want. All you have to do is specify the new contact details and then push the Edit button. The changes will be instantly reflected live. You will be able to update the WHOIS information for one or multiple domains at once.

Using the GeoIP redirection tool incorporated into the Domain Manager, you can point a specific language version of your website to a certain geographic market. It features a user–friendly point & click interface where you don’t have to type any code. You simply have to specify the location of your future site visitors along with the URL that you’d like to load for those visitors.

For example, if you have a German version of your web site at de.your–site.com, you have to enter it in the URL field and then select Germany as a desired destination market. This way, when a person coming from Germany visits your web site, they’ll see de.your–site.com instead of your–site.com.

In the Control Panel you’ll find a point ’n’ click domain management interface offering loads of features for administering many domain names at a time. You can effortlessly create sub–domain names, forward web sites, update the nameservers as well as the WHOIS details pertaining to a domain, set custom DNS records and more.

In addition to the standard domain name controls, in the Domain Manager you’ll also find an option to shield your domain registration details by using the Whois Privacy Protection feature as well as to secure your e–commerce portal’s transactions with ordinary or wildcard SSLs.
